This is something I started almost 2 years ago in a response to the revocation of Roe Vs. Wade. I believe in body autonomy and access to healthcare being essential. Even if you don't need access to these organizations then they are probably always looking for donations to help fund their missions. Most, if not all, are non-profit. I have provided a description of what each org does, I have also gone through to make sure that they are still available as of the date of me writing this. No one should feel like they have nowhere to go when they're in crisis. If you have any that you think should be added, please use the contact form to let us know and I will vet them myself.

Elevated Access:
https://elevatedaccess.org/

Their Mission: We enable individuals to access essential healthcare through private and commercial aviation. Our network of volunteer pilots are matched with and provide transportation for passengers and resources to aid people in need of reproductive or gender-affirming care. We do this through careful coordination with organizational partners and logistical coordinators.

As stated, these are private and commercial pilots that donate their time and use of their aircrafts for use by patients to get to appointments in different states. Their services are mainly for abortion access and gender-affirming care. Though from what I can tell they will also transport providers to patients in critical need. This is a referral based service.

The Satanic Temple:
https://thesatanictemple.com/

Their Mission: The Mission Of The Satanic Temple Is To Encourage Benevolence And Empathy, Reject Tyrannical Authority, Advocate Practical Common Sense, Oppose Injustice, And Undertake Noble Pursuits. (yes, I am just copying these from their websites and they are the ones who capitalized every word :))

This is the Satanic Temple of which I am a registered member, they are bringing up legal proceedings in the states which had trigger laws and such since they are a registered religious organization they it is against THEIR religion to not allow the medical treatment of such patients. I've actually been working with them for a bit to try and do a fundraiser in support of this cause (I haven't forgotten about this, it's been a rough couple of years >.>). They also support a range of queer organizations and programs.

Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project:
https://wrrap.org/

Their Mission: Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP) is the largest national, independent, nonprofit abortion fund. We provide urgently-needed financial assistance nationwide to individuals seeking abortion services or emergency contraception.

Wrrap is a program that helps financially fund impoverished and disadvantaged people with access to those funds for abortions and emergency contraception. I mean, that's what their mission said but I did say I would provide my own description.

The Bridgid Alliance:
https://brigidalliance.org/

Their Mission: The Brigid Alliance supports people who must travel long distances for abortion care. Working across the United States, we arrange and fund confidential travel, lodging, childcare, and logistical assistance, closing the gap between the need for an abortion and the ability to access one.

This is another referral based service but they take care of all the logistics associated with access to care. They help make the appointments and then make sure you get there, and take care of everything along the way. Sometimes people need those kinds of people in their corner to be able to do those types of things.

Stix/Restart:
https://getstix.co/pages/emergencycontraception

Their Mission: Okay this is not technically an org but I'll explain...

So I don't even remember how I came across this (again, this was 2 years ago), but they ARE still doing this. They sell an emergency contraception called Restart, but that's not why I'm adding them here. I'm adding them here because they also take donations and if you need access to it, you can donate the amount needed to be able to send one to someone who can not afford to purchase it. You can also get on their list to be fulfilled to have one sent to you. Again, this is donation based and I have no idea how long their list is...but it's an option if you have no other.

There is also access to cheap plan B options online. One being on probably the most popular commerce site on the internet. Regular plan B is over the counter as well.

All of these are restricted to the US but serve the whole US. There are definitely more localized ones that I found in my research, like there is one that serves the state I live in and two of the surrounding states. I wanted to keep this more generalized though. If you need access to services then I would highly recommend that you look into every option you have because they ARE available.

Also, since I was a victim of domestic violence and my community has helped me overcome A LOT dealing with the aftermath of it...I'm gonna post this here too...

National Domestic Violence Hotline:
https://www.thehotline.org/

They may not be able to help directly but they may be able to help find resources for you. In my experience escaping is a long and fucking LONELY road. It took me weeks to find a place for my children and me to go to. The domestic violence shelters wouldn't help because the last incident wasn't recent enough, which I understand since they wanted to leave options open for people who were in immediate need but to me at the time it felt so heartbreaking knowing I wasn't in enough of an issue even though it felt pretty immediate to ME. Do not give up.

I'll leave this off as I tend to always do...

You matter, your issues matter. You might think "Oh this isn't as important as *such and such*"...if it is important to you, then it IS important. Be kind to yourself.

Thank you,

Beots
